The party scene is pretty funny, but when they attempt to parody the action, get it all wrong, and don't even have subtitles, it gets pretty meh.

I liked that part a lot. It gave you a sense that this had been taped over a VHS tape that someone had used to record some very VERY boring (but absurd) programming. i.e. The French version of Rob was a pretty boring guy. Haha.

Very nicely done, indeed. I really like it, though I didn't understand a single bit - subtitles would have been nice.

We really apologize for missing the subtitles, we're about to do it.
I hope the subtitles will be online on Thursday or Wednesday.

Why is the action so "poor" ? As we say on the dailymotion's video page, it's for a French contest about the movie "Be Kind Rewind". The subject of this contest is making a home-made version of a movie. We chose Cloverfield .
That's why there are no visual effects as in the original movie, or less action.

I promise we will give you the subtitled version of Clorofield (our parody) as soon as we finish it .

Yes, it's our parody.
It's a parody of the trailer only... We couldn't "remake" all the movie, because some people didn't watch the movie .
